2020 Outdoor thread

Post by Jefferson1977 » Wed Feb 12, 2020 4:14 pm

Popping some seeds now to put out June 1'st. I am expecting a monster outdoor crop this year. I selected a bunch of strains based on quick finishing for my northern location.

Dutch Kush
Pinapple Skunk - Humboldt
Sour OG Cheese - Ethos
Bag seed of some amazing Hawaian type strain

Anyone else starting to get ready for outdoors?
So many strains, so little time...

Hey Jefferson, I took four plants into my backyard a few days ago:

Blueberry Cookies - Dinafem Seeds
Strawberry Amnesia - Dinafem Seeds
Black DOG - Humboldt Seeds Organization
Humboldt Dream - Humboldt Seed Company

They're looking great so far, so excited.

I just have the regular 3 pot autopot system with the 12 gallon reservoir and it works great I never flowered in it, this will be my first attempt; I use them for mothers because it makes life so simple.

I've seen them work indoors in flower they work really good. However my plants started yellowing and stuff I think it was due to the fact that we had a lot of rain and there's no way to really prevent the rain from going in the pot so I think they got over watered. I just decided to put them in the ground with the rest of my plants so I will be using the auto pots for mother's now.

Update on the patch....some of the plants went in bigger than others hence the size discrepancy.

Hello S&P friends. I present to you Skunk Poison. My outdoor strain ive bred over the past 5 or 6 years. Its a cross between Rainbow Skunk and Durban Poison and finishes outdoors middle to the end of September here in East Central Alberta. Very mold resistant, good yielder and even better potency that takes any and all my pains away while leaving me feeling quite stoned.

Years ago I grew some outdoor specific strains that were great but they seem to be a thing of the past as I cant find them anywhere. Anyone here ever grow Guerilla Gold? Freezeland? These were some that I can think of and were great plants. Anyways if anyone on here has some insight to these or other proven outdoor, early finishing cultivars please let me know!

Nezzy

In my garden I'm growing black dog which is supposed to finish really 7 weeks or so. I've also got green poison which is another early finisher and green poison crossed with black dog. Last year my c99 from Canuk finished early for my Northern Ontario latitude.

Update on the garden. I top all my plants so that they grow bushier with equal colas. That one big plant was a mother I took out of my tent I staked it so that it would not grow too tall, I'm forcing it to grow out sideways.
